Karen and I have been in the real estate business for over 20 years and along our journey in about 2012 we decided to create our own company that would have a very special focus: That special focus is the customer! Whether you are selling your home or buying a home we know and understand that you are interacting/transacting the largest financial transaction in your life and there can be no mistakes. It took a while for us to put together the team and get things rolling as well as find a building that would represent our needs.
Around 2014 we found a building in Old Town Troutdale and we completed the sale in 2015 and after much research for a name we found that Mt Hood Realty was available as both a name by the Secretary of State and a URL. We marched forward, opened our business with a small team and were very excited to put customers number one.
Finding a team has been a struggle because Karen and I have a very strongly held belief in old fashioned customer service and that includes earning your business and not just getting you to sign a piece of paper and trying to hold you accountable. Rather, we are the ones accountable to you as the customer and you are in charge at all times. We have had to do a lot of training with our team to get them to understand old-fashioned customer service and we are extremely proud of our Dynamic team that fully understands how to treat a real customer and create success together.
Truly, we are a small boutique firm that has grown to 2 offices. Our main office is in Troutdale Oregon and our secondary office is in Camas Washington. Our team is about 12-15 brokers and we are proud of each one of them for their unique skill sets.
We are a fast-growing small team with great sales but every week when we get together the number one thing we talk about is how we can serve our client with old-fashioned customer service and it makes us all smile. Helping you sell your home or buy a home for the first time are things we do extraordinarily well. Our motto is “Making Dreams Come True one home at a time.” In many cases this includes helping a family buy their first home that they thought could never happen. With our knowledge and connections with local lenders we can help the dream of homeownership come true.
